If you are looking to look better in a bikini, there are a few foods to avoid to lose weight. Losing weight and maintaining your weight is not difficult if you have the right knowledge and know a bit about what makes you fat and what makes you healthy.
Many people think of carbs when they think of foods to avoid to lose weight, but carbohydrates are one of the best sources of energy for your body. Often breads, which are high in carbohydrates, are catagorized as a bad thing to eat, however good carbs will help you to have the energy to exercise, walk, and just live your life. However, not all carbs are created equal. Here is a list of foods to avoid to lose weight:
Candy, table sugar and other simple sugars – These carbohydrates are BAD. They do not offer the body any nutritional value and instead give the body and implied “high” only to come crashing down. Stay away from these sugars.
Alcohol– Alcohol is one of the foods to avoid to lose weight. Alcohol, believe it or not, is a carbohydrate that also gives the body no nutritional value. Alcohol is the first and easiest food for your body to process and therefor the calories in alcohol are burned before any of the food you eat. Some alcohols like beer contain additional carbohydrates in the form of wheat, barley and hops that add to the caloric intake.
Processed foods – Another no, no. Processed foods like bologna, cheeses and others are terrible for your weight because of the amount of additional chemicals and bonding agents that are put into the foods. White bread and sugary cereals are also processed foods that are very high if undesireable calories and things that your body will not digest well.
Sodas – Even diet sodas are a food to avoid to lose weight.
So, if those are foods to avoid to lose weight, what are good foods?
Good foods to enjoy if you are trying to lose weight are anything high in protein like chicken, fish and legumes. Fruits are full of sugar, but your body knows how to process this type of sugar for a nutritional benefit. Also, whole wheat breads and fibery foods are great to eat because not only do they digest well, but they also clean your colon and intestines, which helps you to lose weight.
The best way to lose weight is with a good weight loss plan. These diets will teach you all the right foods to eat, how to eat, and when to eat them. Only when you control the foods you put in your body will you be able to lose and maintain your weight.
